Reminds me of the guy NBC fired from hosting Sunday night football because his pre-game rants started getting political and he pushed his liberal agenda down everyone’s throats during a sports telecast. It was really annoying and I loved that they fired him.

Think Rogers should’ve at least waited until tomorrow to fire him though. This is now the hot topic on what should be a day of the country coming together and remembering the soldiers who fought for our freedom.

Anyway, that’s all I’m gonna say about it. But I have a feeling this comment section could be a gong show today

Good to see Podzolkin is still getting great reviews from the professionals. The Bobfather doesn't usually gush over prospects so it was nice to hear him chime in.

Glad Sportsnet had the balls to actually fire Cherry rather than try to spin it, although I wouldn't be surprised if he forced their hand by refusing to apologize. I have fond memories or coaches corner and Cherry and IMO he deserves recognition for his place in Canadian hockey history but his comments and maybe more importantly sentiments I haven't supported in many years. I actually think be has said much more offensive things before and should of been gone years ago. Hopefully he gets his head out of his ass and can move into retirement with a bit humility.
